Meet Carrie

Stillness Speaks

The luxury of quiet and peace everyday as I work in my studio is immeasurable. More remarkable is how my work creates tranquility in others.

Crafted with love, care and time, I want serenity, light and joy to shine back into the world.

Time in the studio is akin to cultivating a garden with a daily routine. The organic rhythm of the studio is a space for discovery and finding balance.

Like breathing – I inhale my surroundings and exhale life into new pieces.

New work shifts my kaleidoscope, uniquely informing what will follow.

“Material is a means of communication. The listening to it, not dominating it makes us truly active, that is: to be active be passive. The finer tuned in we are to it, the closer we come to art”

- Anni Albers
